[TV SHOW REVIEW] How to Get Away with Murder - ABC

poster of How to Get Away with Murder - ABCNO SPOILERS
Welcome to another tv show review!

This time I will be talking about a thrilling mysterious legal drama show called How to Get Away with Murder, that follows the life of a criminal law professor, Annalise Keating, and her five best students.

The series is currently on it's ninth episode in the first season.

The title alone makes you curious to find out more about the show, but it's when you start watching it that you're under its spell. The story already begins very mysteriously, alternating between how everything started and how things are currently. The inbetween is shown little by little in every episode, making you frustrated in a good way.

The bad thing about starting a show like this, is being able to keep up the story this good throughout the entire series, so I don't know how I'll like it once the current mystery is solved if it is.

But so far I'm really into it and I do recommend it.

I won't be getting into more details because, well, it's a mystery show and I'm guessing you want to find out what happens by yourself.

So go ahead and check it out!

[MOVIE REVIEW] Vice (2015)

poster of VICE 2015 movieNO SPOILERS

I'm here bringing you guys another sci-fi movie that has the awesome participation of Bruce Willis: Vice.

Here's the trailer :

The main subject of the movie is a sort of resort called VICE, designed by Julian Michaels (Bruce Willis), where the clients can do anything they want, play out all their wildest fantasies to artificial inhabitants, the residents, who feels and looks completely human and have absolutely no idea that their lives are programmed so they always have the exact same planned day.

The movie is sort of Gamer (2009) meets The Island (2005), and have the main focus not on the clients who do despicable things in this separated world, but on the life the A.I.s have.

I really liked this movie, it was very entertaining and easy to watch. The plot is quite common, people have been doing this kind of "escape-from-dystopia" films for a while, so it's not something new, but is still very fun to watch.

The only thing I didn't like was seeing Bruce Willis as the bad guy instead of the good one. But oh well, what you gonna do right.

[MOVIE REVIEW] Lucy (2014)

NO SPOILERS

So today I'm here to review the new well, from 2014 Scarlett Johansson movie called Lucy.

Here's the trailer :

Now, this movie is not for everyone. It will not please a lot of people. At first it just looks like an awsome woman who gets superpowers and kicks everyones ass, and that's not exactly accurate.

Basically, Lucy (Scarlett Johansson) is used as a drug mule, and have a package inserted inside of her stomach. She gets beaten up, and the package opens inside of her putting her in direct contact with the drug. This drug is basically a synthetic CPH4, which is naturally produced during pregnancy to accelerate brain activation. Since she is exposed to a lot of that, her brain capacity starts to expand - the human brain works at 10% of it's full potential - until it reaches, by the end of the movie, 100%.

I found this movie to be incredibly interesting, but you've got to like these kind of plots, that has you thinking on your own about what the facts there presented actually means.

So I understand why a lot of people were not happy with how this movie turned out to be, just because most of us thought it would be way different - more "superficial". And that is what I thought at first as well, but I ended up loving it even more, for going beyond that.

I wouldn't recommend this to everyone, because, like I said, it gets you interpreting the entire time. Some might find it to be interesting, while others, offensive. What I can say is that if you like movies like that, you will like this one. Maybe not as much as I did, but still. Lets not forget Scarlett, who makes the movie half amazing just for being in it. :)
