[TV SHOW REVIEW] Eye Candy - MTV

poster of Eye Candy - MTV
NO SPOILERS

So, I am seriously considering only doing reviews on tv shows, because I'm watching so many of them and there's always a new one for me to check it out, but I'm not so sure yet. What do you guys think?

Anyways, this time I'm reviewing for you guys a thriller show starring Victoria Justice: Eye Candy.

Eye Candy is about a hacker girl woman, Lindy Sampson (Victoria Justice), who witnessed her sister's kidnapping three years ago. Now she has a blog where she helps other people find their missing dear ones while she tries to find her sister as well.

Meanwhile, Lindy's friend Sarah signs her up, against her will, into online dating, where she comes across a cyber stalker/murderer. Lindy teams up with the police to help them catch him.

MY OPINION
The plot of the show is awesome, I really liked it. But the actual show is not that good.

The pilot episode is all over the place - in a good way. I liked the approach they tried there, it was different; so much happens that you just cannot keep your eyes off of the screen, so I thought the show was going to be amazing, but that's not what really happened.

The story ended up being super rushed up in all the episodes so far, which doesn't give you time to relate to and care for the characters.

The acting is not the best either, I just don't believe in the characters at all.

So far I'm still watching it to see if something changes, since it only has been aired 4 episodes. But it's really a shame that they weren't able to do better at this, because like I said, the plot is really good.

Overall I do not recommend this show (see, told you I'd eventually run into a not-so-good tv show), but if my opinion changes I'll let you know.

[TV SHOW REVIEW] You're the Worst - FXX

poster of You're the Worst - FXX
NO SPOILERS

So today I will be doing a review on a comedy show called You're the Worst. The series has been renewed for a second season, but the airing date has not been released yet.

The show is about two people, Gretchen Cutler and Jimmy Shive-Overly, both with toxic personalities trying to make it as a couple.

Gretchen is a messy cynical PR executive and Jimmy is a selfish insensitive british novelist, both living in Los Angeles.

It is fun to see how their relationship works and don't. Not only that, but their friends and not so friends are also quite messed up which makes this show even funnier.

Attention, the series is rated as TV-MA-LSV, which means some content may be unsuitable for children under 17, containing coarse language, sexual content and violence. Although I don't think it has much violence.

This is one of my favorite shows so obviously I do recommend it.

I know it seems like I only do reviews on tv shows I like, but that's just a coincidence because I like almost every show I watch. But who knows, maybe I'll watch one and I'll unlikely hate it and advice you guys not to see it.

But for now go ahead and check out You're the Worst, 'cause it is the best ;)

[TV SHOW REVIEW] Young & Hungry - ABC

cover of Young and Hungry - ABC family
NO SPOILERS

Today I'm reviewing a sitcom executive produced by Ashley Tisdale and starring the beautiful ex-Disney star Emily Osment: Young & Hungry.

The show was renewed for a second season, which is coming up this spring.Yay!

The series follows the life of a feisty girl named Gabi (Emily Osment) who gets hired as a personal chef by Josh (Jonathan Sadowski) and has to prove herself not only to him, but also to his personal assistant in order to keep the job.

The show also counts with the participation of Jesse McCartney as Cooper, a computer hacker who comes to work for Josh.

I found the series to be super easy and fun to watch, the characters are very bright and they all have a distinct personality which makes everything even better.

Because it is so simple and easy to like, I give this show 5 stars for sure :)

So go ahead and check it out!

[TV SHOW REVIEW] How to Get Away with Murder - ABC

poster of How to Get Away with Murder - ABCNO SPOILERS
Welcome to another tv show review!

This time I will be talking about a thrilling mysterious legal drama show called How to Get Away with Murder, that follows the life of a criminal law professor, Annalise Keating, and her five best students.

The series is currently on it's ninth episode in the first season.

The title alone makes you curious to find out more about the show, but it's when you start watching it that you're under its spell. The story already begins very mysteriously, alternating between how everything started and how things are currently. The inbetween is shown little by little in every episode, making you frustrated in a good way.

The bad thing about starting a show like this, is being able to keep up the story this good throughout the entire series, so I don't know how I'll like it once the current mystery is solved if it is.

But so far I'm really into it and I do recommend it.

I won't be getting into more details because, well, it's a mystery show and I'm guessing you want to find out what happens by yourself.

So go ahead and check it out!

That's it for this review, I hope I helped you guys!

[TV SHOW REVIEW] 2 Broke Girls - CBS

NO SPOILERS

This time I'll be reviewing a sitcom that is currently on its 4th season: 2 Broke Girls.

The show is about, well, two broke girls, Caroline Channing and Max Black, working as weitresses in a diner in Brooklyn, New York.

It is fun to watch their unsual friendship, since Max, according to her, raised herself, while Caroline was born rich, but saw everything fall apart when her father was caught in a Ponzi scheme. The language is simple and filled with innuendos.

In my opinion is currently even better than Two and a Half Man please don't hate me.

The only bad thing I'd say about this show, is that sometimes the "comedy lines" feel a little too obvious. But some might like it or not be too bothered by it, like me.

So if you don't want to commit too much into watching a new tv show but still feels like needing to laugh a little, I certainly recommend 2 Broke Girls.

[TV SHOW REVIEW] Lost Girl - Showcase

MINOR SPOILERS

I was just watching this tv show called Lost Girl, and I thought why not make a review on it since it is one of my favorite tv shows?

So, Lost Girl is a supernatural drama about a, well, lost girl named Bo, who comes to find out that she belongs to a world hidden from humans: the Fae world.

The Faes are supernatural creatures, such as shapeshifters, sirens, valkyries, oracles and etc., and they are divided into Light Fae and Dark Fae. Now, the Light Fae aren't necessarily good nor the Dark Fae are necessarily bad, although they tend and enjoy doing mean things just for the heck of it to be less considerate about others

Basically the story begins with Bo becoming friends with a human girl named Kenzi (Mackenzie Malikov) and finding out that she is a succubus - a creature that feeds from life energy (chi) of others, usually during sexual encounters -, and that, just like her, there are a lot of other creatures who don't fit in in the human world. When that happens, she is given a choice: she either joins the Light or the Dark.

She eventually chooses neither, and gets to be known as the unaligned succubus.

The show is currently in its 5th season and it is an amazing show. The cast is captivating and Anna Silk does an incredible job portraying Bo.

A lot has already happened so far, but the episodes are still always interesting and feels "natural" - by that I mean that the story doesn't feel dragged out, like it should've already ended.

So if you're into the supernatural genre and likes a sassy humor, you are going to enjoy this tv show. Oh, and also, you have to be ok with sexual content, since Bo has a very, very big appetite for every kind of person. ;)

I hope I helped you decide if you want or do not want to check this out.
